K-State Parking Services receives national award

Parking Services has earned Accredited Parking Organization, or APO, status from the International Parking & Mobility Institute — awarded to organizations that demonstrate excellence in parking and mobility operations, customer service, leadership, financial management and innovation.

This accreditation highlights Parking Services' dedication to providing safe, efficient and customer-focused parking and transportation services for the K-State community.

To obtain this designation, the department completed a thorough review of its policies, operational procedures, technology, financial management, communications, sustainability initiatives and long-term planning to ensure alignment with nationally recognized best practices.

"Achieving APO accreditation is an exciting milestone, but it also serves as a reminder that there's always room for growth," said Adrienne Tucker, director of Parking and Transportation. "We are committed to continually improving our services, exploring new ideas and collaborating with our campus partners to meet the evolving transportation and mobility needs of the K-State community."
