Parking garage transitions to the HonkMobile payment app on April 2
Starting Thursday, April 2, students, faculty, staff and community members can pay for parking in the garage using the HonkMobile app. This app allows users to pay for parking on the go and to view, update or extend their parking sessions remotely. HonkMobile will replace ParkMobile in the parking garage.
To pay for parking using the app, follow these steps.
- Download and sign up: Download the free app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account using your phone number and email address.
- Add vehicle and payment: Enter your license plate number and a payment method. Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal is accepted. You can save multiple vehicles and payment methods.
- Select zone and time: Once parked, open the app and select the Zone ID. Zone IDs are located on signs in the parking garage and stickers on the parking meters.
- Pay and park: Select the duration of your parking session, then confirm payment.
- Extend session: If you need more time, you can extend your session directly from your phone without returning to your car.
Campus parking meters are cashless, accepting payment via credit or debit card or through an online payment app. Parking meters across campus will soon transition from ParkMobile to HonkMobile as a payment option. To learn more, visit the Parking Services website.
