Update your parking account with new license plate info

Submitted by Parking Services

The Kansas Department of Revenue has begun replacing the standard embossed vehicle license plates for Kansas. If you've received a new license plate, you need to update your parking permit information to avoid a citation.

To update your information:

  1. Log into your Parking Portal account.
  2. Select the Vehicles tab from the top menu.
  3. Select Add Vehicle.

The system treats new plates as new vehicles, so you cannot just edit your plate; instead, you must Register Additional Vehicle. Enter your new license plate and vehicle information, then select Next.

To remove your old plate:

  1. Select the Vehicles tab from the top menu.
  2. Select the old plate number.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Go to Plate Type and select No Longer Owned from the drop-down list.
  5. Select Next.
