The Pride is going “Home” to section 26!
Many of us can remember the days when the Pride sat on the 50-yard line seated right behind the visiting team. The stadium rocked, the visiting team struggled, and the band was a force to be reckoned with!!!
Then came the new building on the Northeast corner of the Bill and the “Band Showcase” was born. Great seats!! We could see everything! The band had more space, safer seats and stairs, electricity and water, and a storage room! But there weas still something missing. Without sitting by the students, we were not as successful at motivating the student section and crowd as we were in the past. We tried but it was just not the same….. and now we are moving the band home to Section 26!!!!!!!
This year will be the “trial” year to see how things go. If it all works out-which I know it will-then Athletics will do what we need to adjust the section to accommodate us.
The Pride will be back in section 26, and the band and The Bill will be on fire this September!
