More than $100,000 has been raised during the past 12 years for scholarship assistance for K-State Marching Band Members through the Marching Pride Scholarship.

A third-year student wrote, “I want to sincerely thank you for your support in the Marching Pride Scholars of the Pride of Wildcat Land. I am fortunate enough to receive one of these scholarships this year as a junior in the marching band. Your support will help me in my music education pursuit and performances as a clarinet player and assistant drum major in the KSUMB.Your support makes a difference.”

When: The tournament will be held July 27th, 2024, at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kansas. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.

Fees: The fees are $150 per person, and $600 per team. This includes cart, polo, player gift bag and lunch. All proceeds are used for scholarship assistance for K-State Marching Band students.

Tournament Awards/Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to pin. First and second place teams in each flight will receive awards.

Dress Code: Collared shirts for men.  Collared shirts, sleeveless collared shirts, or sleeved shirt without collar for women.

Refreshments: Snack and beverage carts will be available on the course. Lunch will be served after golfers finish.

Location: Colbert Hills is located on the northwest side of Manhattan.

From the south, follow Hwy. 177 to town. Take Tuttle Creek Blvd (Hwy. 24) north to Kimball Ave. Turn west on Kimball for six miles, then turn north on Grand Mere at the roundabout to Colbert Hills.

From the north, take Hwy. 24 south to Kimball Ave., then west on Kimball, and turn left on Grand Mere.
