Breadcrumbs

Folders

You should create a breadcrumbs file for each folder within your site.  From the Pages list on the Content tab, click the New link and choose the Breadcrumb option in the menu.  Specify the name that should be displayed for that folder and click Create.  Each page contained within that folder will then include the folder name in the breadcrumb.  For example the breadcrumb for the President's Letters to Campus reads, "K-State home > Office of the President > Letters to Campus."

Pages

The breadcrumb for a specific page is based on the title used when the page is created.  The standard naming convention is to include the page name, folder name, and Kansas State University with the pipe character separating each level.  For instance, the title used to name this page was "Breadcrumbs | CMS | Webservices | Kansas State University."  Pages (and breadcrumbs) can be changed by editing Properties and changing the title of the page.
