Interview Designer: Utilizing Competency-Based Interview Questions session offered Oct. 19

Interview Designer, WTD196, will be offered from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the Edwards Hall commons area.

This session focuses on building an aptitude amongst interviewers at the university and equipping leaders on best practices during the interview process. Participants will learn how to select relevant competency-based interview questions and how to drill down on an experience to consistently assess an applicant.

As a result of this session, participants will:

  • Identify and apply the best practices associated with preparing for, conducting and evaluating structured interviews.
  • Define the right competencies for screening, selection, and development according to position level.
  • Practice structured interview question guides.
