Application Licenses
The Division of Information Technology negotiates and manages educational and volume software licensing agreements providing both free and for-purchase software products to faculty, staff, and students. Restrictions apply on some software.
Adobe Applications (Acrobat Pro DC and Creative Cloud Apps)
Adobe products for design & creative use
Requirements
- For current and active K-State faculty, staff, and students.
- Licenses must be requested and paid for by K-State departments.
- Cost shared by users of the Adobe enterprise agreement. This is not an unlimited-use site license.

Code42
Online computer backup
Code42 licenses are available for purchase by departments for faculty and staff. Each user license allows a maximum of 4 devices to be backed up. Code42 will back up files on a user’s workstation, laptop, or desktop computer in a continuous, invisible, uninterrupted manner and send you a periodic report of the status of your backup. Code42 encrypts the data using strong encryption and backs up in the Internet cloud making the backups available off-campus or remotely.
Requirements
- Restricted to current K-State faculty, staff, and departments.
- Licenses must be requested and paid for by K-State departments.
Access and Usage
- May be used on both K-State-owned and personal equipment.
- May be used on up to 4 devices total (K-State and personal devices).
Request a License
- The annual fee is $72, covering the period from August 1 – July 31. Costs for purchases after September will be prorated.
- To request a license, submit a completed Code42 License Request form. An invoice will be issued upon receipt of the completed form.
- Once payment is received, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access Code42.
