Plan Ahead For Success
Take practical steps in fall to stay on track and prepare for spring semester and next academic year. Being proactive now will pay off in the future.
Fall Planning Checklist
Meet with your academic advisor
Now is the time to meet with your academic advisor. Advisors help students establish academic and career goals and guide them through courses and activities to help them achieve those goals. Students are required to meet with their advisor at least once per semester.

Get answers to questions about majors
If students are unsure about their major or thinking of changing their major, exploratory advisors are here to help. Students can schedule an appointment for major and career exploration to match their career goals and interests to find a major that is right for them.
Appointments or drop-in times are available in the Pre-Professional and Exploratory Advising Center.

Students who are in a fraternity or sorority and with to live in their chapter's housing should secure space now. Fraternity and Sorority Life is available to help students navigate the process.
Make informed financial decisions
