Windy Nicholson hired as executive director of student health and well-being services

Kathleen Hatch, Morrison family associate vice president for student well-being, announces the hiring of Windy Nicholson as the executive director of student health and well-being services.

In her role as executive director, Nicholson will serve as the lead champion and administrative officer for a broad portfolio including Lafene Health Center, Lafene Counseling and Psychological Services, Morrison Family Student Well-being Center and the Cats' Cupboard. She will be a key member of the Student Well-being Collaborative and a university leader to advise on student health and well-being matters.

Nicholson earned master's degrees in business administration and public health at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has a bachelor's degree in health and safety education from the University of Memphis in Tennessee. She has many years of experience in leadership management, clinical operations and wellness program management.

Nicholson will be joining Kansas State University early in 2023.
