Pedersen and Ritter present remote work topic at regional conference
Karen Pedersen, dean of K-State Global Campus, and Marci Ritter, administrative consultant, presented the session "Serving Learners and the Institution From a Remote Work Structure" on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at the 2021 University Professional and Continuing Education Association, or UPCEA, regions week conference.
The conference provided virtual sessions, poster board presentations and networking opportunities for a combined audience from all five UPCEA regions and was attended by more than 1,600 members. Pedersen and Ritter's presentation focused on K-State Global Campus' journey to becoming a fully remote unit at the university and provided a template for attendees to utilize as they think through the possibilities of permanent remote work for their units.
