Updates on restored IT services

Submitted by Division of Communications and Marketing

Mediasite upgraded
Mediasite is now accessible in an updated form. This means that video content produced through Mediasite is also now available to students in Canvas. In addition, this cloud version of Mediasite is faster to load and stream for people outside of our immediate area and in places around the world, and for deployed soldiers in remote locations.

While we have been successful in restoring the majority of content available on Mediasite, some content or files were unable to be recovered, primarily content created/uploaded the week before the start of the spring 2024 semester. If you notice content that is unavailable, please use available video creation resources to recreate content as needed. If you require assistance with this process or have questions, please contact the IT Service Desk.

Cybersecurity best practices
The IT Service Desk has received numerous questions about steps individuals can take to stay cyber secure. A list of cybersecurity best practices is on the Information Technology website. Please continue to be vigilant and remember your cybersecurity training and these best practices.
