Advertising and Public Relations Student Summit to take place Thursday, March 30

The K-State Public Relations Student Society of America, or PRSSA, and Ad Club will host the first Advertising and Public Relations Student Summit from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in Ballroom K, K-State Student Union.

Featuring eight panelists, the event will begin with a moderated panel discussion and student Q&A, followed by a refreshment break and small-group roundtable discussions with panelists. Students will have the chance to network with panelists one-on-one and receive career advice and guidance on resumes and portfolios.

Panelists include:

  • Andy DiOrio: Regional media relations manager, Amazon.
  • Ryan Hayter: Founder/president, Hayter Industries.
  • Lea-Ann Germinder, president and founder of Germinder + Associates.
  • Grayson Gilbert: Marketing specialist, Sifted.
  • Eva Gregory: Associate marketing manager, Hallmark Cards.
  • Sophia Hernandez: Communications specialist, City of Garden City. 
  • Salena Sauber: Director of communications, K-State Alumni Association.
  • Shawn Dryden: Principal/owner, New Boston Consulting Group.
