The Alan Levin Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering hosted a luncheon and awards celebration for its graduate students on May 3.

Each year, the department presents awards for outstanding graduate teaching assistants and graduate research assistants, as well as the Pau-Chang Lu Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scholarship and the Naim Z. and Beverly J. Azer Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scholarship.

Department faculty members nominate and vote on graduate students who they deem most exceptional for the outstanding graduate teaching and research assistants awards. Graduate students apply for the two graduate scholarships and department faculty vote on those recipients.

Congratulations to all nominated graduate students, as well as the winners.
