Nominate a title for the 2022-23 K-State First Book

Submitted by Jennifer Tidball

Kansas State University students, faculty and staff are invited to submit nominations for the 2022-23 university common book.

Submissions should follow the theme "Inspiring action — books that inspire readers to take action and make a positive change in their community."

K-Staters can submit nominations at k-state.edu/ksbn/nominations

The K-State First Book selection committee — made of students, staff and faculty — will review the nominations and narrow down the list of titles to one. The committee's work begins this summer and ends in November. To join the book selection committee, fill out the interest survey

K-State First Book, the all-university reading program that is part of K-State First, selects a common book for the academic year and coordinates classroom and campus activities to correspond with the reading.

The 2021 K-State common book is "The Marrow Thieves" by Cherie Dimaline. Learn more about the K-State First Book and view past book selections.
