Internal search for interim dean of College of Health and Human Sciences

The Office of the Provost announces an expedited internal search for the interim dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences. The search is limited to current employees of Kansas State University.
The interim dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of the college, reporting directly to the provost and executive vice president and serves as a member of the Dean's Council. The interim dean will have full authority of the deanship and responsibility for providing leadership, strategic vision and direction, and support for the college. The successful candidate must have the experience and vision to inspire, guide and facilitate a strong and diverse faculty in the advancement of high-quality teaching, research, service and extension.

The search committee invites letters of nomination or applications be submitted as soon as possible. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, June 8, with campus interviews anticipated to take place between June 15-22.
It is expected that the successful candidate will begin the position on July 11. Application for the position of or appointment as interim dean will not preclude an individual from consideration for the permanent position. A national search will begin later this summer for permanent leadership with more details to follow.
