Movement Challenge week four results

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Week four of the Movement Challenge results are in and are posted below. The K-State community has done a great job on focusing on their physical health and well-being over the past month. The Movement Challenge ends on Saturday, Sept. 22. Don't forget to join in on the Wildcat Wellness Coalition's 5K on Saturday at the Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex.

The week four leaders are:

Department activity:

  1. Aerospace Studies
  2. Dean of Veterinary Medicine
  3. Recreational Services

Department participation:

  1. K-State Olathe
  2. Lafene Health Center
  3. Recreational Services

Individual activity:

  1. Mary McHugh
  2. Tammy Racey
  3. Mal Hoover

Each week includes an additional challenge for participants. Week four's challenge was to do something active with your department. Two winners were selected at random for a wellness prize. Ketty Reppert won a Fitbit for participating in the challenge and Mal Hoover won a Hidrate Spark smart water bottle for her participation on social media.

Congratulations to the week four leaders! See more information about the Movement Challenge on the Live Your Best website

Participants who participate in all five weeks will be awarded four HealthQuest credits and corresponding HSA/HRA contributions at the end of the challenge. Random drawings for wellness-related prizes will also take place for participants and those that engage through social media using the hashtag #PurpleIsProgress.
