Stressed student: How can you help?

Submitted by Dorinda J. Lambert, Ph.D.

As we lead up to finals, it is our job as part of the K-State family to become increasingly sensitive to the amounts of stress our students are experiencing and its negative impact on their health and academic performance.

To address this concern, I’d like to invite you to take an online simulation that will assist you with approaching students of concern and referring them to support services on campus.  I highly recommend that you take this free, 45-minute course before Nov. 30. I am confident you will find it highly engaging and worthwhile.

To take the course, please use the following link and open an account using your K-State email address; if not using your k-state email address, you may be asked to also use the  “enrollment key,"  also listed below.

Enrollment Key: ksu61

I appreciate your interest in this important initiative, and I hope you will take this opportunity to learn how you can help our students. If questions, please email me at djlink@k-state.edu.
