Submitted by Office of the Vice President for Research and Division of Communications and Marketing

Seek magazine cover

Seek out the spring issue of Kansas State University's research magazine to learn about national security, gene-editing technology, animal disease tracking systems and more.

Seek magazine is K-State's flagship research magazine and highlights university research, scholarly and creative activity, and discovery through a print publication as well as the website k-state.edu/seek

The spring issue includes four feature stories:

• "A solid defense" describes projects that tackle military challenges from every angle.

• "CRISPR connections" explains how scientists use genetic technology.

• "Keeping Kansas beef on track" shows how the CattleTrace project is safeguarding an important state industry.

• "Money matters" helps make sense of cents.

The magazine also shares how the NBAF Scientist Training Program is supporting student development, demonstrates how the Center on Aging improves Kansas nursing home care and highlights undergraduate scholars and university distinguished professors.
