My Education:
I graduated from K-State with bachelor's degrees in General Human Ecology and Family Studies & Human Services and a minor in Leadership Studies.

My Hometown:
I am from a small, rural town about one hour north of K-State called Washington, Kansas. Washington has a population of about 1,000 people and where much of my family has called home for many generations!

My Hobbies:
I absolutely love traveling and meeting new and fascinating people – I feel very fortunate to be a member of the K-State International Admissions team getting to travel and work with students on a daily basis. In addition to traveling, I really enjoy running, reading, and watching movies.

My K-State Story:
I have been a K-State fan my entire life so making the decision to attend to K-State was an easy decision for me after I graduated from high school. Upon arriving to K-State in the Fall of 2008 I immediately found myself involved in a number of campus organization including Greek Life, the Interfraternity Council, and intramural sports. I was able to experience first-hand the exciting and welcoming community that K-State has to offer and I look forward to the opportunity to of being able to share this with future K-Staters, as well!

My Work:
When I was an undergraduate student at K-State I loved to share my enthusiasm for K-State with others and now I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to get to do so on a daily basis as an integral part of my career! K-State has been a home-away-from-home to me for many years and I am excited to be able to carry on the K-State legacy by helping new students find their place within the K-State family.

My Education:
I graduated from Kansas State with a bachelor’s in Hispanic Studies and a minor in American Ethnic Studies in 2011.

My Hometown:
I was born and raised in Mexico City or Federal District, home of approximately 21.2 million. Yes, pretty hectic but interesting place to visit!

My Hobbies:
Out of all the hobbies I have, watching my beautiful daughter smile is my number 1 hobby. I also love traveling and crossfit as I am really competitive.

My K-State Story:
I came to K-State to pursue my education and decide to stay after I found out the great and welcoming atmosphere that Manhattan offers to families and students.

My Work:
As a K-State non-traditional student, having a native language that was not English, and coming from another country, I experienced firsthand all the challenges that international students have to face while studying in another country. I decided to join the International Admissions and Recruiting team in order to help all the international students make them feel at home since I know what is like to be away from home.
