Reporting Units

Administrative Support Center

The Administrative Support Center (ASC) is a shared services center providing budget, financial and administrative human resources services to central administrative units to identify process improvements, promote staff development and find areas for increased efficiency.

Budget Office

The Kansas State University Budget Office provides university-wide services in support of campus budgetary activities. The Budget Office is committed to being a high-quality service provider that is responsive to meeting the continuously changing needs of the University and external agencies.

Division of Facilities

The Division of Facilities is an action-oriented service organization within the university. We are custodians, landscapers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, mechanics, project managers, engineers, architects, accountants, and administrative professionals — all stewards and leaders of an inspiring campus shared by many.

Division of Financial Services

The Division of Financial Services provides efficient and effective financial services and support to the campus community. Our reporting units include Cashiers and Student Accounts, Financial Reporting, Fund Balancing, General Accounting, Purchasing and Contract Servicers, Sponsored Programs Accounting and Systems. We are committed to supporting the university and identifying solutions through collaboration, partnership and teamwork.

Environmental Health and Safety

The Department of Environmental Health and Safety exists to support uninterrupted research and learning within a safe and healthy environment. Services include environmental compliance, occupational and research safety, radiation safety, hazardous materials management and response, and fire safety.

Internal Audit

The K-State Internal Audit Office is committed to assisting University management by providing an independent appraisal within Kansas State University to determine the appropriateness, soundness, and adequacy of university accounting, financial and operational controls. These appraisals provide information and recommendations to university administrators.

Parking Services

Parking Services offers reliable and informative customer service in a courteous and timely manner seeking to provide a positive parking experience in managing parking permits, enforcement and support for students, faculty, and visitors.

University Police and Public Safety

The mission of the Kansas State University Police Department is to preserve a safe campus environment where diverse social, cultural, and academic values are allowed to develop and prosper.

University Risk and Compliance

The Office of Risk & Compliance leads the university's enterprise risk management (ERM) and compliance program. We advance the university's mission by proactively and strategically managing risks that impact the university's strategic goals. Our staff collaborates with stakeholders to promote responsible decision-making and integrate risk mitigation practices into routine operations across the university. We measure success not only by our effectiveness at mitigating harm, but also by capitalizing on opportunities to help K-State realize its vision of being a top 50 research institution in the United States.
