Administrative Support Center
University Operations has implemented a service center in an effort to identify process improvements, promote staff development and find areas for increased efficiency. In December 2016, the accounting staff from all former Vice President for Administration and Finance units moved together into 220 Anderson Hall with all relevant accounting activities. VPAF staff were joined by the central accounting team from the Vice President for Research (VPR). In January 2017, VPAF staff moved in 104 Dykstra Hall to create the human resource section of the ASC. During the Summer of 2021, both the Accounting and Human Resources Teams for ASC moved into Fairchild Hall; 110 for Accounting and 117 for Human Resources.
The Administrative Support Center team is excited to work with University Operations and VPR departments to implement the service center concept for administrative units at K-State. We are working with department heads to create streamlined policies and procedures for accounting and human resource activities in the ASC. Our main goals are to provide excellent customer service to our departments and to build a culture of subject matter expertise for the benefit of our customers. The ASC will be an exciting mechanism to foster teamwork, professional development and career opportunities for our team members.
We look forward to working with you and hope you will reach out to us with any questions or concerns. As we define processes and policies, please reference this website for updated information, forms and communication.
