Sustainability Planning

Sustainability plays an important role in our future as recognized by the inclusion of sustainability as one our seven K-State 2025 “common elements”. Sustainability principles touch all areas of the university, including research, curriculum, student life, operations, and engagement.

The university-wide K-State 2025 Sustainability Strategic Planning Committee was charged to recommend a strategic action plan addressing sustainability within the context of these areas and K-State 2025 goals. The plan should include recommendations for key directions and goals, activities that will lead to implementation of those goals, expected outcomes between 2015 and 2025, and an overview of resources needed.

Hearing from the K-State community is important for all our strategic action plans. Please review the draft plan and provide your feedback below. Online comments will be collected through May 10, 2014, and the plan will be finalized in June. As with our other plans, all feedback will be compiled and reported anonymously with no personal identifiers and the compiled report will be shared with the campus community.
