Child at church service
No, the child is too young to pay attention and remain quiet for the length of a church service. The request may seem reasonable to you, but is beyond the capacity of the child to respond as you wish.
Let's say you have a headache. Your thirteen year old is blaring music in her room. You feel yourself becoming just a tiny bit angry. You go to her, tell her about your headache, and ask her to turn down the volume.
Is this a reasonable request?
