Bluejoint Grass, Calamagrostis Canadensis

Example of Bluejoint Grass

Full sun/part sun, cool-season.

This grass prefers moist soil, but can tolerate a variety of conditions, including drought, once it is established. It had a solid first season in the trial, but did not set flowers yet. It will be interesting to monitor.

In its second season this grass spread significantly. It was early to bloom (late May) and stayed green all summer.
