Master of Public Administration student awarded Kansas Association of City/County Management scholarship
The political science department and the Master of Public Administration program announce that Marissa Jones-Flaget, a first-year Master of Public Administration student, has been awarded one of three scholarships conferred annually by the Kansas Association of City/County Management. Jones-Flaget's postgraduate interests are in local government and airport management.
The Kansas Association of City/County Management is an organization representing local government administrators whose mission is to support and promote professional management and high ethical standards for effective democracy in local city and county governments in Kansas.
This is the sixth year in a row that one of K-State's MPA students has won one of these prestigious awards.
