Participate in Spring 2023 Week of Welcome

The Center for Student Involvement invites university departments, offices and student organizations to join us in hosting events for spring Week of Welcome, Jan. 17-27, 2023.
Week of Welcome serves to supports students in: developing a sense of belonging by establishing connections with peers, university faculty/staff and community representatives; exploring opportunities for on-campus involvement to get engaged in during the first semester; being knowledgeable of academic and well-being resources on campus including how to access and utilize them; understanding university traditions and campus values; and being able to appreciate the differences and similarities across the campus community.
If you are planning an event between Jan. 17-27 that meets one or more of the above-mentioned learning objectives and would like to be included in the Week of Welcome marketing campaign, please submit your event information by Friday, Dec. 9. Please consider the WOW event schedule when planning your events.
Additionally, the Center for Student Involvement will host a campus resource fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the K-State Student Union Courtyard. If your unit would like to host a table at this event, please complete this interest form by Dec. 9.
