Beth Bohn to retire on Dec. 23

Submitted by Division of Communications and Marketing

With 27 years of creative storytelling, Beth Bohn is retiring from Kansas State University at the end of the year. Bohn is senior editor in the Division of Communications and Marketing and has had her eye and red pen on almost every type of communication distributed by the university.

Cards and letters of congratulations may be sent to Beth Bohn, 1525 Mid-Campus Drive North, Manhattan, KS 66506, via inter-office mail to 128 Dole Hall, or via email to bbohn@k-state.edu to arrive by Dec. 16.

A graduate of K-State, Bohn returned to the university in 1995 as campus news coordinator, writing university news and coordinating media outreach. When the Division of Communications and Marketing was formed in 2010, Bohn joined the News and Communications Services unit as senior editor. Throughout her career, Bohn has written and distributed thousands of news releases for the university.

Some of her favorite assignments were media relations for the Landon Lecture Series and assisting media for the Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer mission at K-State Salina. Bohn is a gifted writer and thoroughly enjoyed working with students and faculty to tell their stories.

Before joining K-State, Bohn worked at radio stations in Kansas and Nebraska and at the Hastings Tribune and Manhattan Mercury newspapers.
