Join us at annual New Student Convocation
New Student Convocation will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
At the beginning of each school year, thousands of students, faculty, staff and administrators gather at the New Student Convocation event to formally welcome first-year students to the university and introduce them to the campus community. This year, we will gather to share in this moment of community and belonging.
The theme for this year is "Your K-State Journey Starts Now," and we invite faculty and staff to attend and commemorate this event with our new K-State students. Please also reach out and encourage your students to attend to learn about our university's history and traditions and reflect on the power of getting involved.
Gates E and B open at 4:30 p.m. Faculty and staff can enter the stadium parking lot from College Avenue, Gate 3, and park in the West lot and enter the stadium through Gate B. Volunteers will be directing you to your seats for the event at 5 p.m. We encourage you to come early to connect with your students and look forward to seeing you there.
