Legleiter and Locanthi publish article in Higher Ed HR Magazine

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

Shanna Legleiter, associate vice president for Human Capital Services, and Jenny Locanthi, former compensation and organizational effectiveness manager, published an article in the Spring 2022 edition of Higher Ed HR Magazine.

The article highlights the adaptable, consultative framework the two developed to help HCS tackle challenging initiatives and opportunities while focusing on four key pillars: alignment of human resources vision, project management, consultative approach and investment in partnerships.

You may have experienced this consultative approach during the Fair Labor Standards Act changes or during the implementation of remote work.

"Shanna's and Jenny's work to develop this consultative approach helped HCS truly partner with our campus stakeholders as we navigated a number of complex initiatives over the last few years," said Jay Stephens, vice president for Human Capital Services. "The framework they developed is outstanding and serves as a model for the future for others to follow. They have presented at conferences about this work and are true leaders in this space. The university has benefited greatly from this work."
