American ethnic studies professor David Robles receives fellowship
The Arizona Historical Society and its fellowship committee has awarded a 2021–2022 Arizona Historical Society Research Fellowship to David Robles, assistant professor of American ethnic studies at Kansas State University.
The committee found Robles' proposal, "Brothers and Sisters in Arms: Chicano Students in the Fight for Social Justice in Arizona," relevant and important to the future of Arizona history. Part of the fellowship includes Robles' traveling to Arizona to conduct research at the Arizona Historical Society's archives in Phoenix and Tucson.
