Extension Disaster Education Network changes

With the new year comes change. Elizabeth Kiss has become K-State's point of contact with the Extension Disaster Education Network

An extension specialist who focuses on family finances, Kiss has been a K-State Research and Extension delegate to EDEN for several years. She curates the Prepare Kansas blog and was a developer of the Prepare Kansas challenge. Mary Lou Peter previously served as the EDEN point of contact for Kansas.

K-State Research and Extension has been part of the Extension Disaster Education Network, also known as EDEN, since its inception after the devastating flooding in the Midwest in 1993. Current K-State delegates to EDEN are Elizabeth Kiss, Mary Lou Peter, Mary Knapp, Londa Nwadike, Andrea Burns, Jan Steen and Charlene Miller.
