Recreational Services offers more programs

Recreational Services continues to strive to keep our K-State community healthy and active. Starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, we will offer additional services, including group fitness classes, climbing wall hours and intramural sports.

Recreational Services' limited hours will continue. The Rec Complex will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 3-6 p.m. on Sunday. The Rec Complex administration office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

The climbing wall will be open from 4-9 p.m. Monday to Friday, noon to 2 p.m Friday and 3-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The wall area will have limited capacity of 12 patrons. The bouldering wall will be open during normal Rec hours and during climbing wall hours.

Group Fitness classes will be offered both in-person and via Zoom. View the complete schedule on our website. You can preregister for the Zoom classes through our website. 

Intramural sports will begin Sept. 14. Registrations are open now on IMLeagues.

Closed areas include:

  • Locker rooms/showers.
  • All courts, including basketball, volleyball and racquetball.
  • Performance zones.
  • Outdoor courts.

Services unavailable:

  • Equipment checkout.
  • Towel service.
  • Drinking fountains — water bottle filling stations are open.
  • Building and space reservations.
