College of Arts and Sciences launches Digital Accessibility website
The College of Arts and Sciences has published a new Digital Accessibility website in collaboration with Information Technology Services, K-State Global Campus and the Student Access Center.
The goal of the new website is to promote an inclusive educational culture to ensure that all course delivery methods utilizing technology, or eLearning, are accessible to students with disabilities.
Features of the new website include the following:
- K-State Accessibility Checklist available as a downloadable PDF and as tabbed sections of the webpage.
- Best practices to consider when designing content with Microsoft Office applications, webpages, Canvas, PDFs, and multimedia items.
- Short, "how-to" videos covering:
Faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences can access the Digital Accessibility website via the Faculty Resources page, under the "Academic Affairs" heading.
