K-State Dance to feature African guest artists in performances and classes

The K-State Dance program will present "SpringDance 2018" April 6-7 in McCain Auditorium. The performance will feature choreography from K-State Dance faculty and guest artists from Ghana, West Africa, with fun and energetic performances of traditional social dances from West Africa, which will represent different ethnic groups in Ghana. K-State students and faculty will perform.

Bernard Woma, founder and director of Saakumu Dance Troupe of Ghana, and Evelyn Bekyore, a dancer in the company, will be in Manhattan April 4-7 to perform at "SpringDance" and will teach on campus and in the community. More information can be found on the guest artist webpage
