University of Washington chemical engineering professor to give seminar April 17
Jim Pfaendtner, assistant professor of chemical engineering at the University of Washington, will present a seminar at 10:30 a.m. April 17 in 1029 Durland Hall.
Pfaendtner's lecture is titled "What can simulations tell us about non-aqueous biocatalysis?"
The potential for non-aqueous solvents to endow enzymes with improved or previously unknown properties is exciting and could transform their use in industry.
