K-State music education program to host the 10th biannual International Symposium for Assessment in Music Education

Frederick Burrack and Phillip Payne are co-chairs of the 10th biannual International Symposium for Assessment in Music Education, which will be held at K-State Olathe March 20-22. This symposium features presentations and discussions from music educators from around the world. Former sites of this symposium include Hannover, Germany; Gainesville, FL; Birmingham, England; Taipei, Taiwan; and Alexandria, VA. Burrack and Payne will each present their research and host the symposium. Also featured will be K-12 music teachers from Dodge City and Washburn Rural, describing the music education assessment processes implemented in their school systems.
