Purchase permits, plan for your visit and see all rules and regulations for parking at Kansas State University.
Parking permit and policy updates effective July 1
- Daily parking permits for the Parking Garage will no longer be available.
- Improper Parking and Unregistered Vehicle violations will now follow a progressive fine system.
- Motorcycles can use annual motorcycle permits without needing to purchase a separate permit. However, if you have a vehicle and a motorcycle on campus simultaneously, or if the motorcycle is your only vehicle, you must have a motorcycle permit. Motorcycles without a valid physical license plate require a permit.
- Students with a Residence Hall permit can now park in the āJā parking stalls at the Jardine Apartments, except on game days.

Students, faculty and staff can order a permit in the Parking Portal. Please be sure to have your vehicle make, model and license plate number ready when ordering. Students must be enrolled and have their housing arrangements before they order a permit. A confirmation email is sent after the online process is completed.
Donations 4 Citations
Students, faculty and staff who receive a parking citation can have it "forgiven" by donating to Cats' Cupboard. The program is active during the Fall and Spring Semester only. To qualify for citation forgiveness, you must donate 10 or more nonperishable food items or hygiene products. A receipt of purchase must also be presented with the items.

License Plate Recognition (LPR)
Parking Services utilizes License Plate Recognition technology. Virtual registration users license plate as entered in the online parking portal will serve as their permit. LPR technology will:
- Eliminate the need for physical hang tags
- Enable campus employees greater flexibility when choosing permit types
- Allow Parking Services to more efficiently patrol campus parking
- Acclerate the vehicle registration process
- Ease the visitor parking process by utilizing the ParkMobile app
