Event Parking
Event Parking
Departments and university partners planning an on-campus event should notify parking services at least 24 hours prior to the event. Reservation availability is limited.
Event planners should begin their planning process by filling out a parking permit request form.
Parking Reservations with ParkMobile
The university has partnered with ParkMobile to streamline the parking reservation process, which provides greater flexibility for campus guests. The university's utilization of a License Plate Recognition system has removed the need for physical parking permits like hangtags. The same guidelines apply to campus visitors. Guest's license plates will serve as their permits. Event planners are encouraged to remind guests to pull into parking stalls to ensure their license plates are visible to Parking Services and face the drive lane.
Once event planners have filled out one of the above parking permit request forms, Parking Services will supply them with a ParkMobile link and instructions to provide their event attendees.
Event planners may still choose to organize with Parking Services without using ParkMobile. This option will require departments to gather guest license plate information to provide to Parking Services at least two days before the event. ParkMobile eases the event planning process for organizers and guests alike.
Event Parking is $6/day.
Same Day Parking Access Codes
Parking Services will issue departments their own access code each semester usable for same-day guests/drop-in visitors. Specific events will have unique access codes to share with event attendees. Please formally request event parking as highlighted abve and utilize the event-specific code for your planned on-campus functions.
