Exercise Leadership to Influence Change
K-State's Staley School of Leadership Studies works with graduate students to provide personal leadership development experiences where individuals can make positive change on the challenges that matter most. Our innovative approach to learning will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to exercise the kind of leadership employers and our communities need. Leadership that is knowledgeable, ethical, caring and inclusive.
You will gain a better understanding of the leadership practices necessary to influence change throughout a system. You will deepen your emotional intelligence to inspire others to join you in your work for the common good. And you will be viewed as an innovator and influencer, ready to tackle the grand challenges facing our businesses, organizations, and communities.
K-State's Leadership Communication program is an interdisciplinary research degree. Through the study and practice of leading change, students will produce original research that is grounded in community-engaged scholarship. This collaborative program includes faculty affiliated with K-State's Department of Communication Studies, Staley School of Leadership Studies, Department of Communications and Agricultural Education, and Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy.
The Graduate Student Leadership Development Program provides K-State graduate students an opportunity to develop leadership skills to make positive change in your work, studies, and student organizations. The Staley School of Leadership Studies, the Graduate School, and the Kansas Leadership Center have created this program specifically for graduate students who want to move beyond technical expertise to solve problems.
