Psychology faculty accepted for publication, present

Matthew Palmatier, assistant professor of psychology; Brianna Sheppard, doctoral student in psychology; Skyler Gross, senior in psychology; Sarah Pavelka, 2009 graduate in psychology; and Melanie Hall, 2011 graduate in psychology, had a work accepted for publication in Drug and Alcohol Dependence, an international journal. The team's publication is titled "Caffeine increases the motivation to obtain non-drug reinforcers in rats."

Gary Brase, associate professor of psychology, recently presented for the department of psychology at Osaka City University in Japan. His presentation was titled "The nature of human numerical representation and statistical reasoning" and was given Jan. 11.
