Mike Dibbini, KSU Women's Soccer Coach
Fall 2016 will feature the addition of Women’s Soccer at K–State. KSU Women’s Soccer Coach Mike Dibbini will discuss how he is building a new athletic tradition at KSU. Coach Dibbini is a former standout player and highly successful coach at Kansas Wesleyan. He most recently rebuilt Cal Poly Pomona into an NCAA Division II championship contender.

Jesse Romo, MHK Airport Director
Jesse R. Romo, named MHK Airport Director in April 2015, will give insights on the recently completed phase of the airport, as well as future plans at MHK. A pilot himself since the age of 18, Mr. Romo’s diverse past spans from a degree in sociology to a career in the aviation industry. What does airport expansion mean for Manhattan travel? Enjoy lunch and find out!

David Carter will share with the KSU Social Club his expertise as a docent for the Morse Department of Special Collections with a presentation on the St. John's Bible. The seven-volume Heritage Edition of The Saint John's Bible is a collection of works that celebrate living creative traditions. The St. John's Bible was a monumental modern undertaking. Donald Jackson and his team of scribes and artists have combined ancient calligraphic techniques with computer technology to create on calf-skin vellum the first hand-written and hand-illuminated bible commissioned in over 500 years. Please come enjoy a great meal and a wonderful discussion of an exhibit from our own KSU Library.

Distinguished Professor Recipient Wayne Goins, Professor and Director of Jazz Studies at K–State, will share some music as he discusses the journey that brought him to Kansas State University. (Rescheduled from February luncheon)
Also, KSU Social Club proudly supports non-traditional students through four named scholarships. At this dinner, our scholarship recipients will share about the impact that KSU has had on their life. This dinner is the same evening at Branford Marsalis’ performance at McCain Auditorium. Our dinner will conclude in time for members to attend the concert.
