2012-2013 Programs

The Music Man
Director Jennifer Vellenga will talk briefly about the upcoming (Nov.8-11) production by K-State’s new School of Music, Theatre, and Dance of this classic Broadway musical. Students will perform a sampling of musical numbers and dialogue from the play.

Basketball Update
Kansas State University’s new basketball coach, Bruce Weber
Coach Bruce Weber is one of the winningest active Division I coaches, with more than 300 career wins and eight NCAA Tournament appearances to his credit. Come hear what the KSU Wildcat Men’s Basketball team has in store for us this season!

Musical Vistas
Dr. David Littrell, Distinguished Professor of Music and Conductor of the Kansas State University Orchestra, will discuss renovation efforts and youth strings education at the Cedar Vista schoolhouse (built 1885). Dr. Littrell will also perform a cello recital, accompanied on piano by Amanda Arrington.
