President of Kansas State University

This is an exciting time to be a Wildcat as we continue to work toward becoming one of the nation's Top 50 public research universities by 2025. K-Staters have a strong commitment to excellence, and this is evident in the ongoing efforts that are propelling our great university forward. President Myers will discuss his commitment to collaboratively moving Kansas State forward with the help of the university community.

John Pagen
Vice President of Community Development
Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce

John Pagen is originally from Michigan, with a business degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. After graduation he worked at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn as a financial analyst. John has lived in Manhattan since 1997. He knows first-hand the appeal of Manhattan, and why so many people enjoy calling it home. An ongoing challenge is to create good jobs for all the people who want to stay and make a life here.
