Draft policy is submitted to the Information Resource Management Council (IRMC).
Draft policy may be submitted by administrative units, Faculty Senate or by a subcommittee of IRMC.
IRMC approves the policy.
Following approval by IRMC, the chair will sign the Policy Transmittal Form.
The Vice Provost for IT Services reviews the policy and submits it to the Dean's Council, CITAC Chair, and Faculty Senate President for their review and comment.
The Dean's Council members, CITAC Chair, and Faculty Senate President provide comments to the Vice Provost for IT Services within 30 calendar days.
The Faculty Senate President reviews and signs the Policy Transmittal Form indicating approval and returns it to the Vice Provost for IT Services.
Faculty Senate President will sign the Policy Transmittal Form within 30 calendar days.
The Vice Provost for IT Services approves the policy and forwards it to the Executive Computing Committee (ECC).
The Vice Provost for IT Services signs the Policy Transmittal Form and returns it to the ECC.
The ECC approves the policy and notifies the Vice Provost for IT Services.
The ECC signs the Policy Transmittal Form and returns it to the Vice Provost for IT Services.
The Vice Provost for IT Services will notify the campus community that the policy has been finalized.
The Vice Provost for IT Services will announce to the university community (via e-mail) that the policy has been approved. It will be posted to the PPM and IT Policies on the Vice Provost for IT Services website.
