Steven Klankowski receives NSF Conference Fellowship

Steven Klankowski, third year Ph.D. student working in Prof. Jun Li’s research group, has been awarded a Graduate Student Fellowship from the National Science Foundation’s Division of Civil, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Innovation. The fellowship will cover the cost of his participation in the NSF CMMI Engineering Research and Innovation Conference to be held this year in Boston July 8 - 12, 2012.

Steven will give a presentation on his doctoral research entitled "High-Performance Lithium Ion Battery Anode Based On Core-Shell Heterostructure of Silicon Coated Vertically Aligned Carbon Nanofibers". Congratulations, Steven!
