The department offers programs leading to the B.S. and B.A. degrees in Chemistry, the only difference being the foreign language requirement. The B.A. degree requires the attainment of Level 4 (i.e., French 4, German 4, etc.) in a sequence offered by the Department of Modern Languages.

The B.S. degree in chemistry consists of two programs: (i) the chemistry program , and (ii) the chemical science program.

It is also possible to earn a minor in Chemistry.
