Term Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Kansas State University (www.ksu.edu/chem) invites applicants for an appointment as a visiting Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry for the 2012-2013 academic year. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (ABD candidates may be considered). We seek an outstanding instructor to teach our one-semester General Organic course for non-majors. Although the position focuses on teaching, there will be opportunity to conduct research in collaboration with a faculty member once the teaching duties are met. The appointment will be for a one-year term with a possibility of a second year term contingent upon performance and availability of funding.
