Director of Laboratories - Kansas State University (Search Extended)

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for the position of Director of Laboratories to begin in June 2013. This position oversees all aspects of our undergraduate teaching laboratories including: appointing, training and evaluating TAs; scheduling classes; preparing lab examinations; providing instruction on teaching methods; revising lab experiments and manuals; consulting on equipment purchases, etc. At minimum, an M.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Education is required, as are excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail; ABD is acceptable. This position carries full benefits and support for professional development.
