Receives Fulbright Fellowship
|
Mike Reppert, B.S. 2009, has earned another prestigious award: he will spend the 2009-2010 academic year as a Fulbright Student Scholar at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Mike, whose undergraduate research in bio-physical chemistry was carried out with Prof. Ryszard Jankowiak, previously spent a month in Poland doing collaborative research on laser spectroscopy.
The Fulbright award caps a long list of distinguished recognitions for Mike at K-State including a Goldwater Scholarship, the K-State Presidential Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Student in Research, and a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship; he will use the latter in Fall 2010 when he begins his Ph.D. studies in biophysical chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Congratulations, Mike – well done!
