Join Wildcat Wind Power at K-State

Submitted by Lane Lundeen

Wildcat Wind Power at K-State, a registered departmental student organization, is a competition team that designs small-scale wind turbines and sites theoretical wind farms.

The team competes annually in the Collegiate Wind Competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy. Wildcat Wind Power is comprised of three teams: Mechanical, Electrical and Siting. Whether you are interested in programming microcontrollers, power conversion, siting a wind farm, marketing a new product, or the opportunity to help administrate a team of innovators in a growing industry, there is a spot for you on the Wildcat Wind Power team.

We host meetings at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday in 1027 Durland Hall.
