Kansas State University continues to provide updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following is a summary of announcements from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4.

Updates continue to be posted on the COVID-19 website, which includes guidance and frequently asked questions about the return to university campuses. Guidance and FAQ content that has been updated recently includes clarification to the process for requesting cleaning and disinfection following a positive COVID-19 case as well as clarification of the isolation and quarantine information in COVID-19 exposure protocol. The website continues to highlight the new online dashboard with COVID-19 data.
Wildcats are encouraged to stay in Manhattan, Salina and Johnson County during the holiday weekend.
K-State and local health departments are encouraging the Wildcat family to stay in Manhattan, Salina or Johnson County for the Labor Day weekend rather than travel to visit friends and loved ones.
The Riley County Health Department has identified additional COVID-19 outbreaks.
The Sept. 2 update from the Riley County Health Department reported 123 new positive cases and 53 more recoveries since the Aug. 31 update.
