Diversity programming quarter 2 applications due today

Submitted by Maggie Billman

Applications for Diversity Programming Committee funding will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4. The committee is currently reviewing requests for events that will happen between Nov. 1 to the end of the spring 2021 semester. The link to apply for funding can be found online

The Diversity Programming Committee allocates funds to student organizations that are hosting large-scale events intended to dissuade prejudice and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, geographic location or age. Requests for DPC funding must be a minimum of $3,000 and the events must be hosted on K-State's campus, or via an online platform. Additionally, projects must be free and open to all K-State students.

Any questions about DPC funding can be directed to Maggie Billman, chair, at maggiekay@k-state.edu.
